I am so sorry to hear that Simon departed this world so early.

 Like the members of the 'band', i had the pleasure  of getting to know Simon when i started my first real job !. I was new to England and did not have a car and Simon became my regular taxi driver. He was always full of life and 'smiling' . I had the pleasure of accompanying Simon on a trip to Tipperary to a friends birthday party  (way too much Guinness consumed) and he even got to see some of my native Kerry.

It was great when i got to meet Jonny when he was very young and i could see  how much Jonny meant to Simon.

Those memories of Reading were so much fun. My birthday was in January and he always joked how much younger he was than me. ( 16 days ! ) .

To Simons family and loved ones I extend my deepest sympathies.
