Simon took a collection of photos of my 2 children around 11 years ago. They are some of my most treasured photos. My daughter just turned 18 this weekend and it was only then that i stumbled across the news of Simon's death as i was looking through some old contacts. 

I was upset to hear this unexpected news. He was a lovely man  and had a wonderful sense of humour. I remember he put a plate of biscuits out for us and when our backs were turned my children aged 5 and 7 scoffed the lot! We joked i couldnt take them anywhere and i still retell this anecdote.

I like to think Simon achieved so much more than some who lead longer lives. He had so many talents and was an exceptional father. He used to tell me about his trips to Mallorca with Jonny.
